100 words

A week ago ~titta and I got married. More on the subject in Titta's journal.

Seems it's been over a year since I last wrote a journal and almost a year from last submission. I'll try to activate myself here again. I'll start by trying to do this hundred words challenge thingy that's been going around.

The rules

1. Make 100 pics each pic having a theme listed below. Each pic should have ONE and only ONE theme to it, for it to count.
2. No time limit so have fun
3. The main picture should be drawn but not limited to. for all fair purposes, people are allowed to use their paint programs and photoshop to create the pic.
3.a) pics should be of own artistic ability. You may not edit photos, or break any other rules set out in the Da etiquette policy. Your pics can be anything from sketches and doodles to great master pieces. Just have fun with it.
4. The list below is to be placed somewhere in your journal for others to see that......

B) What you have completed
5. make sure to update this list and check off what is done and make a link to the pic
6. In the comments for your art work note if it is part of the list and what ONE theme it is.

Well, firstly, I got into a Polytechnic art&design school to study graphic design. It's even near enough for me to go by bike until winter and icy roads come.

I've had to really force myself into doing some work lately. I'm really bored during days and am just waiting for the school to start. I feel very un-energetic.

Saw Sin City yesterday. It was a good adaption of the comic but since I wasn't much fan of the original comic the movie didn't exactly move me either. I still enjoyed it and think that moviemakers should take note about how to transfer comics to the big screen.

I've got to eat something. Fried eggs... mmm.

Yay, at least I know I got in one of the schools I applied to. It's been a while since I've known what I'll do next year. And I'm glad that those darn entrance exams and such are over for this spring. They always drain the life out of me.

I've been mostly sketching and planning lately. I've drawn some finished works also, but for some reason couldn't have been bothered to submit them here.

In other news, I'm going to go to our sommer cottage in Lapland for two weeks. I haven't been there in years so it's also a nice change. I've got some mighty big plans of making a comic while there, but I've had a lot of big plans and not so many have become true. Still my goal for this summer is to make some sort of a comic publication (omakustanne).

Hey, I also got this free subscription trial. Seems like there's very little difference and the thing I'd want most, search, doesn't work.

Whoa! I was really surprised when I saw over a couple of hundred unread messages. I thought DA was doing some tricks on me, since I've used to get a few message every now and then. Turned out "Relax, We're Professionals" was selected as a daily deviation. I guess this is my 15 minutes of fame here . Thanks for the DD and thanks for everyone who commented/looked at it. I'll try to answer as many comments as I can. Right now, I'm real busy and don't have much spare time. Anyways, thanks to everyone, again!
